• Business documents — incorporation papers, partnership deeds, GST returns, agreements — for the services you engage us for.

Information we collect automatically

• Standard web logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) when you visit our website.
• Cookies for site preferences and analytics — we use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation.

2. Why we collect it

• To deliver the service you've engaged us for — for example, your PAN is needed to file your ITR.
• To communicate with you about status updates, reminders for upcoming due dates, and responses to your queries.

3. How we share your information

Our staff and partner CAs/lawyers handle your documents directly. We do not outsource document processing to third-party agencies.

• Physical documents are stored in locked filing cabinets at our offices, accessible only to authorised staff.
• Digital files are stored on encrypted, password-protected systems with role-based access.
• WhatsApp messages from clients are end-to-end encrypted by WhatsApp.
• We retain client documents only for as long as required to deliver the service plus the statutory retention period (typically 6 years for tax-related documents).
• Old physical documents are shredded; digital files are securely deleted.

5. Your rights under DPDP Act

As a data principal, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or out-of-date information.
• Erase your data, subject to statutory retention requirements.
• Withdraw consent at any time. We will stop processing your data, although we may retain copies as required by law.
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
• Grievance redressal through our contact officer (below) and, if unresolved, the Data Protection Board of India.

6. Cookies

Our website uses minimal cookies — strictly necessary cookies for site function, and Google Analytics (with anonymised IPs) to understand site usage. We do not use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies.
